Ron took his Dad golfing yesterday in Rantoul, Illinois. Dad was so happy to swing that club. Amazing how well he did at 93 years old. He was very tired, but it was a good tired. I think Ron was a bit worn out himself. We will probably be staying near his parents for the next few weeks, providing it doesn't get too cold. It appears that time with them could be limited, so this seems like the right decision for now.

M and M

Door County may have been a little boring, but not Rockton, Illinois. Grandkids, Megan and Matthew joined us in the RV for a ride to Blackhawk Campground. Michelle, Ron's daughter and his Son, Mike and Wife Kim got together with us during the last few days for many good meals and fun times. Today we are waiting for a part to come in for our RV and my glasses broke, so they are in the mail to Florida and our TV died in the bedroom, so I guess Grandpa and I will need to entertain ourselves in other ways, if you know what I mean.

Door County

Ron and I left Minnesota for Door County Wisconsin. Door County was not one of our favorites places to visit. Lake Michigan was gorgeous and the fish boil was great. Other than that, we didn't find anything that was of great interest to us.

Barb and Dick

We had a great time in Minnesota with Barb and Dick Borden. Barb and I went for a walk on this boardwalk. Of course, at our age, we had to walk carefully so we didn't fall on our faces!!

FISH SHIRTS

Tyson and Kaidan were so excited that Aunt Judy made them new T-shirts with fish on them. The boys love their fishing equipment and often spend the day looking through their tackle boxes and sorting all their tackle.

Wow, now this woman means business. The pretty one is the owner of the beach house where Kim's Birthday Party was held. The other one is the local police called to quiet us all down. It didn't work very well as she had to come back 3 times. But none of us ended up in jail and we all had a great time.

Wow, what a great party Daughter, Kim, had to celebrate her 40th Birthday which doesn't take place until November 28th. Husband, Steve wanted Kim to be surprised and that she was. Her 3 Minnesota friends, Steve's Dad, Aunt, Cousin and her brothers and sister, husband and wife attended along with Mom. We all had a great time and it was a perfect Birthday party except - - - - - - check the next entry..........
