Animal World

We are in animal heaven. Yoshi and Aussie along with Hapii and Buddy keep us on our toes. They have become good friends and enjoy the great outdoors.

Winter in September

Ron and I joined Tanya in Evergreen for lunch. The first thing we saw was the snow covered mountains, then a snowplow and you can see by the additional pictures is was a bit of a challenge to get around. Evergreen received 6 inches of snow yesterday and today could be some more.

Snowing in Colorado

The boys didn't want to go outside today. It is cold and snowing. Ron and I are enjoying it as we know it won't be long and the sun will be shining again. Buddy and Hapii are being kept warm by Aunt Judy's blankets.

This is the view of their home we enjoyed after a climb up the mountainside. Their doggies, Ozzie and Yoshi enjoyed the mountain climbing with us.

On The Road to Tanya and Greg's Home

As we were going up the mountain we took pictures. You can take the journey with us. We used the open moon roof to get many of the pictures. We also took a few after we climbed a very steep side of the mountain by their home and took pictures of the front of the house. It was a beautiful warm day here in Colorado, but they are promising us a true fall tomorrow.

Hail in September

Ron and I experienced hail in September in the Colorado Mountains. This is the hail that was on Tanya and Greg's Deck. Today is warm and Sunday, but tomorrow promises to remind us that it is fall with temps only reaching the middle 50s.

New Grandoggie

Fanci is the latest in our family of Grandoggies. Isn't she just the little princess. Jim seems to be enjoying warm September weather in MN. We had hail in Colorado yesterday. Today is suppose to be around 82. We took some pictures of the hail. Will post them later.

Chins meet in Golden CO

We arrived in Golden, CO the day after Labor Day. We are at Dakota Ridge RV Resort, which is very nice. Our Chin, Happy, is shown getting acquainted with Yoshi, Daughter Tanya's Chin. They are so cute running around together. Tanya has two dogs and we have two dogs, so it gets a little crazy. Yesterday they ran outside together and really enjoyed climbing the rocks in Tanya and Greg's Yard. The weather here is beautiful. Low 80's, sunny and dry.

Hapii has his little boy surgery on Tuesday and the coach gets a slide fixed next week and I am sick with the bug. So I add that to this blog, so you working people won't think we are just loafing!! Love to All.

George and Linda Dorsey

We stopped to visit George and Linda Dorsey in Des Moines. We had a lovely dinner in their backyard and met the next morning for breakfast. (Note: Old men love rockers and sunglasses!)

Saying Goodbye to the Zaphel Family

Not many people touch that steering wheel. Ron's son, Micheal, took us for a short ride on the day we left Rockton, IL for Des Moines, Iowa.
