Twins for Halloween
New Refrigerator
We were leaving the Verde Valley Area to go to Casa Grande when we suddenly smelled what I thought was bleach. Ron remembered that we had a bottle of bleach in one of the compartments, so he pulled over and checked the bleach. It had not spilled. That would have been a blessing because what we were smelling was ammonia from the refrigerator which basically means buying a new refrigerator. So we called a repair person and after he gave us the cost, he also had to give us oxygen ($1652.00). The pictures show the men bringing it in through our emergency exit in the bedroom (at least now we know it actually opens!) and bringing it down our little tiny hallway. They had about 1/4 of an inch on each side and then the last picture of it actually installed. It is much nicer than the old one, but for that price it should be made of gold. If we don't eat for the next 4 months, we should come out about even. We are now in Casa Grande and it is nice here, but doesn't compare with the Sedona area.

Grand Canyon
However, we got home 5 minutes too late to enjoy a bingo game at the clubhouse. Darn, I was so expecting to get rich. I've heard it costs $3.00 to play all night, so I guess I saved the $3.00.
Ron and I took the bus to the Casino last night and they gave each of us $10.00 to spend. So we each had a yummy Prime Rib Dinner for $10.00 each and we played about $15.00 in the machines. Today we went back at 11:00AM - this time we drove ourselves! We had lunch for $5.00 each and they gave us 10% off for being Club Members!! Makes you proud to know us, doesn't it??? And we used their bathroom and their toilet paper and left for our Grand Canyon Tour. Yippee What fun.

Sedona, AZ
Catholic Church in Sedona
Arizona
We arrived in Arizona (Verde Valley) on Wednesday. The area is beautiful and our campground is very nice. Yesterday we were lazy so we went to breakfast at the clubhouse. Tasty bisquits and gravy. Then we went to Jerome, AZ to prowl around the ghost town. However, our car heated and we decided to head back down the mountain to the Chevrolet garage. Had to stop once to let it cool down, but we made it without a tow. It was a simple fix. The cap on the radiator overflow wasn't on tight enough. So we are heading out today to Sedona. We will save exploring Jerome until the weekend is over and others head back to work. It will be more peaceful throughout the week.
