Preston' Birthday

True to his age, he liked the box as well as the gift. He is still playing in it today.

Preston's Belated Birthday

We missed Preston's birthday due to the death of Ron's Mom. So we celebrated it a couple of days ago. We are babysitting him now while the rest of the family is in New York for the US Open. He had his first Grandpa Eggs today and played piano with Grandpa.

Kitchen Project

We bought this house with remodeling in mind. What's new?? The bottom picture is the kitchen before paint and the top two are after paint. Next we need new appliances and a wood floor. Started painting inside of cabinets - not fun but necessary.

Leaving the Track

We left the track at 10PM and arrived at our hotel about 2AM. But the great part was our little car was wedged between Jeff and Jimmy's haulers. It was so cool.

The 95th and Nascar Race

Kim has the pictures of our dinner on the 95th floor of the John Hancock Building where we gave Tanya a Tiffany box with tickets to the Nascar Race for the following evening at the Chicagoland Speedway. It was a bit of a culture shock going from the 95th floor for dinner to the Speedway for beer. But it was a blast. As you can tell, we were dressed for the occasion!!!! The stadium scene is one you will never forget. It was the first time in my life that I have ever seen a line of about 100 guys waiting to get in the bathroom and no line for the ladies. We love it.
