Sunday

Sunday we visited the Navy Pier and the Obamas and headed home on Monday. Thank you daughters for a super time. And Happy Birthday Darling.

Leaving the Track

We left the track at 10PM and arrived at our hotel about 2AM. But the great part was our little car was wedged between Jeff and Jimmy's haulers. It was so cool.

Nascar

Nascar is a world of it's own. Lotz of Beer - Lotz of tailgating - Lotz of souveniers.

The 95th and Nascar Race

Kim has the pictures of our dinner on the 95th floor of the John Hancock Building where we gave Tanya a Tiffany box with tickets to the Nascar Race for the following evening at the Chicagoland Speedway. It was a bit of a culture shock going from the 95th floor for dinner to the Speedway for beer. But it was a blast. As you can tell, we were dressed for the occasion!!!! The stadium scene is one you will never forget. It was the first time in my life that I have ever seen a line of about 100 guys waiting to get in the bathroom and no line for the ladies. We love it.

Tanya's 40th

Kim and I had a great time planning a surprise Birthday outing for Tanya in Chicago. Ron drove me to the airport to meet the girls. Kim arrived first which gave us plenty of time to put on our wigs and position ourselves near the Rental Car to surprise Tanya. She arrived about 1 hour later and we were in position by Budget to give her the surprise of a lifetime. We headed to the motel.
