Ron and I actually set an alarm today and after rising at 6:30AM, we headed towards Jacksonville for a Obama Rally. It was really fun. We arrived at 8:30 - stood in line until 10AM when they opened the doors. Thousands were in line and we were probably number 200 give or take a few. We found a really good place to "stand", yes, I said stand for another 2 hours before Michelle Obama appeared on the stage, but it was all worth it. She is an excellent speaker and everything she said was "positive" - no shots at the opposing candidate. Too bad all politicians can't get their point across without crucifying the opponent. She greated people, but I couldn't get close enough to get her hand even though I did my share of pushing!!!!I left there with such a positive feeling for the future.
