Tiny Town 1

My computer decided to quit during the posting of Tiny Town 1. So if you haven't already read the Tiny Town 2 posting, read this one first.

Tiny Town is a creation of my talented and beautiful Daughter-In-Law, Kaye. Tiny Town even has a story attached to it. It is a happy little town consisting of over 67 building, countless characters and if you ask it's creator, each character takes on a personality. Kaye is the Mayor and I was elected City Clerk by a unanimous vote last year. I am proud to serve. If you are interested in serving, you MUST volunteer countless hours to our little town.

Last year we thought there might have been a murder in our little town and it made us very sad because Tiny Town is only a happy place. But we found out that old Mrs. Green just fell over with the candle stick in her hand when she was cleaning it and she simply died of old age with a smile on her face. That was a relief to both the Mayor and myself.

But let's discuss how Tiny Town comes alive each year. As I said I have this very creative Daughter-In-Law and tolerant son and husband that allow us our little fantasies as we create our Christmas dream. Kaye is shown in the bottom photo starting the process by putting foam on the top of her cabinets to create a firm base for the town.

The top photo shows part of the Town starting to form. You can see the beginnings of the electrical cords handing down the cabinets. When the project is completed you will not see a single cord and the entire town is powered by one flip of the switch. Now move on to Tiny Town 2 for more pictures of this amazing adventure.
